Requirements
- Bring 8+ years of experience across FP&A, strategic finance, or business finance in software.
- Have experience at a growth-stage company where finance processes needed to be built.
- Have run planning, forecasting, and business partnering at a high-growth B2B software company.
- Have experience with usage-based, consumption, or hybrid pricing models, or building a transition to one.
- Have owned or led a meaningful finance systems or process change.
- Be fluent in SaaS and consumption metrics, including ARR, NRR, gross margin under variable COGS, magic number, payback, and burn efficiency.
- Build rigorous financial models that others can follow, audit, and use.
- Understand how CRM, billing, ERP, and reporting systems fit together, and be able to direct a systems project.
- Have presented to senior leadership or a board and defended financial results.
- Be able to turn complex operational data into clear recommendations for executives.
Responsibilities
- Build investment cases for strategic bets, new segments, market entry, GTM, and product investments, then review expected versus realized returns.
- Own the framework for allocating spend and headcount across GTM, R&D, and G&A.
- Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and rolling outlook processes.
- Explain unit economics, including gross margin, model and inference costs, cost-to-serve, CAC payback, customer profitability, and NRR/GRR.
- Partner with GTM and Product on pricing and packaging, including usage-based components, and model alternatives and downside scenarios.
- Shape the finance systems roadmap across CRM, billing, ERP, expense, and reporting, and drive implementation with RevOps, Data, and external partners.
- Partner with the VP of Finance and executive team on board and investor materials.
- Develop the strategic finance team, processes, and operating cadence across planning, forecasting, analytics, and business partnering.
