Requirements
- Be able to write production code.
- Work hands-on with the Go codebase and build security services, libraries, or middleware in Go.
- Work with AWS and Kubernetes in a production environment.
- Contribute to security engineering across infrastructure, product, and application security.
- Build or improve detection engineering, including detections as code and telemetry.
- Contribute to cloud, Kubernetes, and container hardening.
- Support security design reviews and provide feedback on engineering design documents.
- Contribute to technical GRC work, including SOC 1, SOC 2, OCC, and MiCA/DORA.
- Learn and participate in incident response and security on-call procedures.
Responsibilities
- Write production security code, tooling, and reusable Go libraries or middleware.
- Review design documents for product features and architecture changes.
- Own security domains such as Kubernetes and cloud hardening, application security in CI, or detection engineering.
- Write and tune detections as code, add telemetry sources, and reduce alert noise.
- Build and expand Kubernetes, container, and cloud security controls.
- Deliver control automation and evidence for audits and regulatory workstreams.
- Help launch and triage the bug bounty program and expand DLP coverage and policies.
- Join the security on-call rotation and contribute to incident response.
- Turn tabletop exercises and resilience testing into concrete fixes.
