Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of experience designing and building products in a software engineering team.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or have equivalent practical experience.
  • Have 3+ years of experience on developer experience, CI/CD, or platform engineering-focused teams.
  • Have experience building AI workflows, orchestration systems, or other AI harnesses.
  • Have experience architecting CI/CD systems, build and deploy platforms, and automated response workflows, using Buildkite or equivalent BYOC software.
  • Have experience working on large-scale enterprise software applications.
  • Have experience building and maintaining an organization's software development lifecycle.
  • Be familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Have experience implementing AI-driven automation across the SDLC and routinely applying AI tools in your workflow.
  • Write high-quality code in Go, Python, or an equivalent language, focused on infrastructure, deployment, and operations challenges.
  • Have experience orchestrating multiple AI agents to tackle complex, recurring tasks.
  • Demonstrate leadership and direction-setting skills as a technical lead.

Responsibilities

  • Scale in-house CI/CD systems to support increased pull-request throughput.
  • Reduce technical debt using AI workflows.
  • Design and build deployment safeguards that protect production at scale.
  • Build observability, evaluation, and feedback systems for AI-driven automation.
  • Design AI-native workflows that improve engineering throughput while maintaining reliability.
  • Partner with product engineering teams to reduce operational toil and support adoption of safe AI-enabled delivery practices.
  • Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and turn successful experiments into platforms used across the company.
