Requirements

  • Have a strong interest in education and entrepreneurship, including alternative and emerging learning models such as homeschooling and microschooling.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Be able to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Be proficient in Google Workspace, including Docs and Sheets.
  • Be willing to learn new software and tools.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have strong problem-solving abilities and a creative, resourceful mindset.
  • A background in economics or a related major is desired but not required.
  • Understanding education policy trends is preferred.
  • Previous publishing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft articles and website content.
  • Create social media posts.
  • Interact with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models.
  • Help plan conference presentations.
  • Identify new opportunities for the Lab.
  • Stay up to date on education policy trends.
