Have professional experience in software development.
Understand the software development lifecycle, including version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
Bring strong software engineering fundamentals in architecture, data modeling, APIs, web applications, and system design.
Be able to decompose complex problems, ask effective questions, and evaluate alternative solutions.
Be able to structure business rules, scenarios, and exceptions as logical structures for reliable software.
Know software and cloud architecture, including distributed systems, serverless architectures, and/or event-driven systems.
Have hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider.
Have experience using AI tools in software development and willingness to work intensively with coding agents.
Learn new technologies, systems, and business domains quickly.
Bring product mindset, autonomy, and initiative when working with incomplete specifications or ambiguous problems.
Be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with changing priorities and a high pace of execution.
Advanced, regular use of coding agents is an advantage.
Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, and AWS is a plus.
Experience building early-stage products or working in startups is valuable; experience with integrations, complex business rules, fintech, credit, or financial services is beneficial.

Partner with Product to clarify requirements, business rules, exceptions, dependencies, and impacts.
Break down ambiguous problems into structured systems, workflows, and implementation plans.
Use AI coding agents throughout development by providing context, objectives, constraints, and feedback.
Contribute to application architecture, including onboarding flows, backend integrations, asynchronous communication, and distributed components.
Review AI-generated code and approaches for security, performance, concurrency, database, reliability, and maintainability risks.
Develop frontend and backend functionality across application layers.
Implement, test, review, deploy, and monitor features throughout their lifecycle.
Investigate anomalous system behavior and production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
Make technical decisions when requirements or solutions are not fully defined, testing and adapting approaches.
Help establish scalable engineering practices and evolve the product and technical architecture.
