Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or a degree is preferred.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, member engagement, or a related field.
- Bring strong verbal and written communication skills and adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Use persuasive communication and negotiation to understand and respond to individual member needs.
- Address objections and enrollment barriers with compassion, empathy, and respect.
- Stay organized and attentive to detail while managing multiple priorities and member records.
- Work effectively toward established engagement goals in a performance-driven environment.
- Be able to learn new strategies, systems, and tools.
- Work securely in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment.
- Healthcare, wellness, or population health management experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and contact center software is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
- Accommodate limited business-related travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospective members through multiple communication channels, explain program benefits, and encourage enrollment.
- Build rapport and trust through active listening, empathy, and personalized communication.
- Educate members, address concerns and enrollment barriers, and pursue engagement and outreach targets.
- Represent the organization professionally in member and internal communications.
- Handle member information responsibly and follow HIPAA, privacy, security, and protected health information requirements.
- Document member interactions and relevant information accurately in required systems and records.
- Share member feedback with internal teams and support improvements to outreach strategies.
- Escalate member concerns and operational issues to leadership when appropriate.
