Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of J2EE development and Java-based application development.
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, Servlets, and JDBC.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL programming.
- Experience or familiarity with Java integrated development environments such as Eclipse or RAD.
- Preferred: knowledge of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) development.
- Preferred: familiarity with Angular 2+ development.
- Preferred: knowledge of web design and CSS.
- Preferred: familiarity with Unix environments.
- Ability to analyze technical problems, troubleshoot application defects, and develop solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and lifecycle practices.
- Ability to handle protected health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII) securely.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement application solutions based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities across complex projects.
- Analyze application defects and technical issues, determine root causes, implement fixes, and validate solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and technical team members to deliver application enhancements and project requirements.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for application components, development activities, and system changes.
- Apply established development practices, security requirements, and technical standards.
- Protect sensitive information and follow applicable security, privacy, and healthcare data protection requirements.
