Requirements
- Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Maintain an active, unrestricted pharmacy license.
- Have 5+ years of clinical experience in managed care or a pharmacy-related field, or equivalent.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Have a successful track record facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects.
- Be able to assimilate and analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, planning, organization, and attention to detail.
- Be able to work across multiple projects, under pressure and timelines, and with ambiguity.
- Preferred: Previous experience in Medicare Stars.
- Preferred: Managed care and/or community pharmacy experience or residency/fellowship.
- Preferred: Experience in clinical program development and leadership.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of project management or leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical program strategies to improve Medicare members’ medication adherence and appropriate medication use.
- Implement clinical program strategies.
- Manage clinical programs and strategies.
- Contribute to the Pharmacy Stars team’s patient safety measure performance.
- Analyze complex issues and variable factors to determine an appropriate course of action.
- Make independent decisions on complex job duties and related tasks.
