Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data and situations.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and maintain organized, thorough work.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Contracts and chargebacks understanding is desirable.
- SAP expertise is desirable.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet departmental objectives.
Responsibilities
- Update contract pricing and membership information in the contract management database.
- Maintain exception reports analyzing pricing and membership information.
- Work with distribution centers to troubleshoot contract discrepancies and update membership and pricing data.
- Use dashboards to compare and reconcile contract information.
- Analyze supplier-returned variance contracts and research contract discrepancies to identify and resolve issues.
- Reconcile chargebacks according to approved guidelines.
- Manage supplier chargeback accounts receivable and collect amounts due while meeting aging goals and minimizing write-offs.
- Maintain contact with suppliers to address payment issues and communicate with customers and external partners to resolve inquiries.
- Support supplier Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technology projects as required.
- Provide status updates, communicate across workstreams, and support department managers in meeting preparation.
