Requirements
- Be a transitioning service member eligible to participate in SkillBridge or a military spouse eligible to participate in the Military Spouse Career Accelerator Fellowship.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, including typing and data entry.
- Have professional healthcare experience or education in a healthcare discipline.
- Have excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Word.
- Have working knowledge of computers or demonstrated technical aptitude, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Be able to work with multiple screens and databases while paying attention to detail in data entry.
- Be willing to work weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Preferred: experience with CGX, Excel, and QuickBase.
- Preferred: an associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: clerical support experience in a healthcare environment, familiarity with medical terminology, CNA or Medical Assistant background, or Medicaid experience.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming member communications and route them appropriately.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence related to Medicaid member services.
- Process enrollment forms, eligibility documentation, claims-related communications, and other member correspondence accurately and on time.
- Track mail status.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve mail-processing issues.
- Ensure mail processing complies with Medicaid program requirements.
