Requirements

  • Hold a master's degree in education, administration, policy, or a related field.
  • Have at least five years of experience in higher education administration.
  • Demonstrate leadership in institutional effectiveness, accreditation, academic quality, and/or strategic initiatives.
  • Have experience leading accreditation processes and serving as a liaison to regional or national accrediting agencies.
  • Be familiar with online learning environments and quality standards related to distance education.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional leadership and project management experience.
  • Have experience driving institutional initiatives and operational improvement across diverse stakeholder groups in higher education or a related sector.
  • Bring knowledge of higher education accreditation standards, institutional effectiveness practices, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Bring knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and/or assessment practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze data, synthesize findings, prepare reports, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Be able to coordinate stakeholders and lead complex initiatives amid competing priorities.
  • Be able and willing to use digital communication tools and work on a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the College's academic program review cycle, including frameworks, timelines, and evidence-based evaluation.
  • Advise on program development, assessment, revision, quality standards, accreditation needs, and student success goals.
  • Analyze program data and recommend evidence-based improvements across academic and non-academic units.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams on operational systems, workflows, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Oversee industry Advisory Councils and translate council input into program improvements and workforce relevance.
  • Support strategic initiatives and provide planning and advisory support to the VP of Learning and Instruction and senior leadership.
  • Oversee project managers and cross-functional project teams, and establish project management standards, timelines, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor progress toward goals and key performance indicators and recommend project evaluation processes.
  • Serve as the College's primary Accreditation Liaison Officer and coordinate accreditation cycles, submissions, site visits, and follow-up reports.
  • Support internal accreditation reviews, cross-functional action plans, and professional development on accreditation standards.
