Requirements

  • Hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Have 1–2 years of hands-on data protection experience in-house, in a law firm, or in a consultancy.
  • Have working knowledge of the GDPR in practice.
  • Have a genuine interest in AI regulation.
  • Demonstrate strong legal research skills and turn new guidance and case law into clear, actionable advice.
  • Be structured, pragmatic, and self-organised, with the ability to own topics independently.
  • Have business-fluent English.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate DPAs and Standard Contractual Clauses with international vendors and clients.
  • Conduct vendor privacy reviews and help maintain records of processing and privacy notices.
  • Help maintain readiness for the EU AI Act by tracking developments and putting them into practice.
  • Handle data subject requests.
  • Support the Operations Team in helping clients understand the legal framework of the business.
  • Research and monitor GDPR, the EU AI Act, EDPB guidance, case law, and national specifics.
