Requirements
- Be well-versed in Python.
- Have strong experience with React.js and FastAPI.
- Be comfortable with modern object-oriented programming practices.
- Have led software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Integration.
- Have knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- Be able to influence others and advocate for technical excellence while remaining open to change.
- Translate business needs into software requirements, bridging product and technology.
- Develop and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
- Mentor less experienced peers through technical knowledge and team leadership.
- Bonus: knowledge of cloud technology such as Azure, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Show resilience in ambiguous situations and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Champion clean, reusable code and practices such as TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
- Oversee or contribute to the software consulting and delivery lifecycle, from ideation through production evolution.
- Use and advocate for continuous delivery to deliver high-quality software and value to end customers early.
- Design solutions and choose technologies that address client problems while making pragmatic tradeoffs within constraints.
- Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes, embedding best practices and UX specifications.
- Apply technology approaches from the Thoughtworks Technology Radar to client problems.
- Continue coding alongside developers using a variety of languages and tools.
- Champion DevSecOps tools and practices, support software build and deployment, and shift security left.
- Coach and mentor teams, encourage feedback, and foster an inclusive, supportive team culture.
