Requirements
- Hands-on experience with programmatic Salesforce development using Apex, LWC, and SOQL.
- Experience with declarative Salesforce tools, including Flow, validation rules, and permission sets.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Billing managed packages.
- Experience producing solution designs and technical documentation.
- Comfort running prototypes or technical spikes to validate approaches.
- Confidence triaging and debugging complex platform issues.
- Experience using Gearset or a comparable DevOps tool to manage deployments across a multi-org promotion path.
- Ability to own code quality and maintain high standards in a small team.
- Strong written communication for documenting decisions and designs asynchronously.
- Experience working in a small, distributed team across multiple geographies, cultures, and time zones.
- Working exposure to Claude or similar AI-assisted development tooling is desirable.
- Experience producing automated test suites; Playwright or similar tools are a plus.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer or CPQ Specialist, are desirable.
- Experience in a Salesforce CoE or product-centric delivery model, and exposure to Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Salesforce solutions using Flow, validation rules, and configuration where appropriate, and Apex and LWC for more complex needs.
- Own and help establish standards for a young, largely greenfield Salesforce codebase.
- Make considered trade-offs between optimisation and pragmatic delivery.
- Follow CoE technical standards and best practices for Apex, Flow, and test coverage.
- Manage deployments through Gearset using the team's environment promotion path.
- Produce solution designs and technical documentation for platform changes.
- Run prototypes and technical spikes to validate approaches and reduce uncertainty.
- Triage and debug platform issues across configuration, code, and managed package behaviour.
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.
- Help maintain code quality and contribute to automated test coverage where appropriate.
