Requirements
- Typically have 4+ years of Frontend or Design Engineer experience.
- Have deep, professional experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Be highly fluent with Tailwind and modern CSS fundamentals, including container queries, cascade layers, specificity, OKLCH color spaces, view transitions, flexbox, and grid.
- Understand accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2.
- Understand core performance metrics, including Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse.
- Provide a strong portfolio of shipped interfaces where you handled both design and front-end development.
- Be able to explain design decisions and trade-offs.
- Understand design workflows and their technical or hardware constraints.
Responsibilities
- Code production-ready prototypes, modular front-end components, and core user-facing features.
- Identify opportunities to redesign or refine key features and flows.
- Find and address visual inconsistencies and UX friction.
- Participate in project kickoffs to understand the product and audience.
- Propose visual direction during project scoping.
- Champion application performance, accessibility, and codebase maintainability as architectural concerns.
