Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on data-intensive applications, database-adjacent features, or enterprise software.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of a production feature or module from functional specification through implementation and production.
- Have hands-on production experience deploying, debugging, and managing application services across at least two major public clouds: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
- Have experience building LLM-based applications or workflows using AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Be proficient in Python and highly proficient in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or C++.
- Have practical relational database experience, including complex SQL, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and schema design.
- Understand temporal data models, event-driven tracking, audit logs, or system-versioned tables.
- Understand application security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, RBAC, row-level security, and multi-tenant data isolation.
- Have experience with application monitoring, structured logging, distributed tracing such as OpenTelemetry, and alerting.
- Have experience designing and implementing REST and/or gRPC APIs for external consumers or frontend systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle from application design and API implementation through deployment and feature monitoring.
- Connect production applications with agent frameworks such as LangChain and protocols such as MCP and A2A.
- Develop secure, versioned application data models that support multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data classification.
- Build application services that deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and meet feature-level performance goals through query optimization, code profiling, caching, and security practices.
- Own application components, facilitate design and code reviews, mentor team members, and drive decisions in an async-first environment.
