Requirements
- Have native-level fluency in Hindi, including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech.
- Demonstrate strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
- Be able to produce verbatim transcriptions, including stutters, repetitions, and filler words.
- Have reliable internet access.
- Have access to a laptop or desktop computer; mobile devices are not supported.
- Be available for a minimum of 10+ hours per week.
- Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is an advantage.
- Be comfortable using browser-based tools; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Produce verbatim transcripts of audio recordings, including filler words, repetitions, stutters, and trailing sentences.
- Meet the stated target of 98%+ transcription accuracy.
- Timestamp audio segments with less than 500ms deviation.
- Label speakers in conversations with 2 to 8 participants.
- Annotate non-speech elements such as laughter, background noise, and unintelligible audio.
- Check and modify audio segmentation and transcription.
