Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or IT support across more than one company or environment.
- Have hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and a SaaS-heavy stack, including identity and access management.
- Have experience managing macOS devices with an MDM such as Iru, Jamf, or similar.
- Have working knowledge of AWS, including IAM basics.
- Be comfortable using shell scripting or Python to automate routine tasks.
- Have exposure to security tooling such as CSPM, EDR, SIEM, or vulnerability scanners.
- Be patient, clear, and friendly when supporting non-technical teammates.
- Be able to assess request urgency and prioritize work independently.
- Document work clearly so others can follow it.
- Nice to have: experience supporting a SOC 2 or PCI audit, experience with Wiz or Datadog, or experience working alongside software engineers in a SaaS company.
Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve IT requests from the fully remote team through Slack and the ticketing system.
- Provision, change, and remove user access across Google Workspace, Slack, AWS, and the SaaS stack.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage the Mac fleet through MDM, including procurement, shipping, repair, recovery, and inventory.
- Administer company tools and SaaS applications.
- Triage security alerts and findings from Wiz, Datadog, and endpoint protection tools, and route them to the appropriate engineer with context.
- Collect and organize evidence for SOC 2 and PCI audits and help complete customer security questionnaires.
- Create runbooks and documentation, and recommend and implement improvements to IT policies, processes, and tools.
- Use AI and scripting to automate repeat work.
