Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Professional experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages such as Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, Scala, or C++.
- Experience building production applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database architectures, including PostgreSQL.
- Ability to own concurrent initiatives and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality.
- Ability to produce technical documentation, including design documents, runbooks, and support documentation.
- Desired: experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, tenant isolation, access controls, and account hierarchies.
- Desired: experience with RBAC, authorization, authentication, or SSO systems.
- Desired: experience with licensing, subscription, entitlement, usage metering, audit logs, provisioning, feature access, MSP/MSSP models, notifications infrastructure, and production reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services that enforce licensing, entitlements, feature access, usage limits, and packaging rules across NodeZero's product, APIs, and partner workflows.
- Build and evolve provisioning and onboarding workflows for account setup, entitlement propagation, and customer auto-provisioning.
- Develop administration infrastructure for user access controls, account settings, parent-child account relationships, and auditable authorization patterns.
- Build MSP/MSSP capabilities for asset allocation, sub-client management, usage visibility, and reporting.
- Implement audit logging and event history systems for administrative, entitlement, usage, and account-level actions.
- Develop notifications infrastructure for usage warnings, consumption alerts, overage notices, product announcements, and other communications.
- Operate services in production, contributing to monitoring, runbooks, incident response, and support workflows.
- Write production code with attention to design quality, test coverage, observability, and operational rigor.
- Collaborate with the Pentest Data Platform and Platform Integration Team to apply entitlement, access, and account-hierarchy rules consistently.
