Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java.
Have strong experience building backend services in a production environment.
Have experience developing APIs and integrating services with other systems.
Be familiar with distributed systems, data flows, and service-to-service communication.
Have experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Be able to solve problems and work independently on complex systems.
Preferred: experience contributing to internal web UIs or tooling, Java-backed web frameworks, or modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
Preferred: experience with Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Salesforce APIs, or integration with Java services.
Preferred: experience with event-driven architectures such as Kafka, cloud environments such as AWS, or highly available or regulated systems.
Preferred: experience with AI model or agent platforms, AI-powered coding assistants, or Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications.

Design, build, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Develop scalable, reliable, well-tested services that integrate with Salesforce and other systems.
Participate in architecture and design discussions for APIs, data flows, and distributed systems.
Write maintainable code with unit and integration test coverage; troubleshoot issues across services, integrations, and data pipelines.
Contribute to internal web applications and collaborate on user interfaces and API contracts.
Build and maintain Java-to-Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, events, or middleware, and contribute to Salesforce development as needed.
Work with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery, and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.
Improve engineering practices, CI/CD, testing, observability, logging, metrics, alerting, documentation, and runbooks.
