Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial backend programming experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Very good knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with AWS.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, and resolving production issues.
- Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks and quickly get up to speed in an existing system.
- English proficiency of at least B2.
- If lacking commercial Kotlin experience, readiness to start working with Kotlin quickly.
- JavaScript and React are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
- Design and develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Work with AWS services, including RDS and S3, and an internal data platform.
- Create and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Work with relational databases and SQL.
- Deliver features independently from implementation and testing through production deployment.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Analyze production problems and take part in technical discussions.
- Collaborate with the development team, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
