Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in core backend software development using Java (11/17+).
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot 3, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Web.
- Strong relational data modeling and SQL performance tuning skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Ability to build RESTful APIs, manage OAuth2/JWT authentication, and design clean interface contracts.
- Experience with microservices, domain-driven design concepts, and transactional state management.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to have: familiarity with healthcare or MedTech software requirements, data privacy standards, or digital medical record workflows.
- Nice to have: experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, AWS or GCP, Redis or Elasticsearch, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable backend architecture and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring.
- Engineer reliable backend services for multi-step business logic, status lifecycles, and event-driven notifications.
- Design secure interfaces connecting internal modules with external systems while adhering to healthcare data privacy principles.
- Optimize relational database schemas and query performance.
- Enforce engineering best practices through code reviews and automated unit and integration testing.
- Provide technical mentoring.
