Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology or a related field.
- Have professional experience in infrastructure, automation, systems administration, DevOps, or a related technical function.
- Have experience automating infrastructure with Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Have hands-on experience deploying scalable and resilient systems with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have experience planning and executing application migrations to Kubernetes environments.
- Be able to diagnose infrastructure and Kubernetes issues and investigate production incidents to identify root causes and preventive solutions.
- Have knowledge of configuration management, infrastructure automation, containerization, orchestration, and cloud or on-premises environments.
- Understand CI/CD concepts and their use in DevOps workflows.
- Have completed at least 12 hours of ITIL v4 training.
- Hold an official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.
- Hold a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.
- Have completed the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (LFS162) course or equivalent training.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and/or on-site technical support to implement, maintain, and optimize IT environments.
- Use configuration-management tools to standardize and maintain infrastructure environments.
- Manage containerized environments and orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and scaling across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Diagnose production and Kubernetes-related issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Implement infrastructure security practices, including access controls and encryption.
- Conduct performance and stability testing to identify bottlenecks and support optimization.
- Maintain technical documentation for automation pipelines, configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with development and multidisciplinary teams to align automation with CI/CD practices.
- Support Kubernetes migrations, scalable deployments, infrastructure modernization, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
