Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales experience and a record of generating revenue growth and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry experience is required.
  • Previous people-management experience, including coaching and developing sales professionals, is required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes, workflows, and operational challenges.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with insurance carrier executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate customer challenges into relevant business and technology solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and account-planning capabilities, combined with a hands-on sales leadership approach.
  • Ability to collaborate across product, implementation, sales, and customer-facing teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as business needs require.
  • Experience selling data, analytics, SaaS, workflow, or technology solutions is preferred.
  • Direct experience working within claims operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Commercial Claims Account Managers to meet revenue, retention, and growth objectives.
  • Set sales priorities, performance expectations, development goals, and team accountability.
  • Execute strategic account plans to expand relationships within commercial Property & Casualty carrier claims organizations.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline health, territory planning, performance metrics, and team execution.
  • Support customer meetings, sales opportunities, contract negotiations, and executive-level relationships.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned customer accounts during vacancies, onboarding, territory realignments, or other business needs.
  • Partner with account managers to identify expansion opportunities, increase solution adoption, and strengthen market penetration.
  • Build relationships with claims executives, operations leaders, innovation teams, Special Investigative Unit leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Implementation, Sales Support, and Product Solution Specialist teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and changes in the commercial claims landscape.
