Requirements
- Bring 9+ years of experience.
- Have strong experience with Databricks.
- Have strong Apache Spark and PySpark skills.
- Have strong SQL skills and data engineering fundamentals.
- Have experience designing data pipelines and data platforms.
- Have experience with Lakehouse, data warehouse, or big data architecture.
- Have experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bring strong customer-facing and consulting experience.
- Have architecture and design experience.
- Good-to-have skills include Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Kafka, streaming, data migration, MLOps, machine learning, GenAI, data governance, Terraform, CI/CD, Snowflake, and the Hadoop ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise customers as a trusted technical partner and understand their business and technical requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable data architectures.
- Design and implement Lakehouse and Data + AI architectures using Databricks.
- Develop and guide proofs of concept, technical workshops, and architecture demonstrations.
- Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
- Integrate Databricks with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and data pipeline issues.
- Create reference architectures, technical documentation, and implementation guidance.
- Support production deployment and adoption of Databricks solutions.
- Conduct technical workshops, enablement sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
