Requirements
- Have extensive experience building, scaling, and maintaining production-ready design systems.
- Understand constraints and guidelines across Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Demonstrate systems thinking and how design decisions affect multiple products and workflows.
- Be familiar with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories.
- Have advanced Figma knowledge, including libraries, auto-layout, components, variants, variables, and library publication.
- Understand accessibility standards, including WCAG, contrast requirements, and inclusive design principles.
- Be familiar with component-driven frameworks such as React and Flutter, and Atomic Design methodology.
- Have strong writing and presentation skills for communicating design system choices and technical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards for layout, typography, color, spacing, visual hierarchy, and finish across reusable elements.
- Design, build, and maintain component libraries that scale across products.
- Define interactive behaviors and state transitions, including hover, focus, disabled, loading, and mobile behaviors.
- Structure and maintain design tokens for colors, spacing, typography, border radius, and shadows.
- Organize Figma variants, properties, and components to support product designers.
- Partner with engineering teams on technical constraints across Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS/Native environments.
- Create usage guidelines and documentation explaining when, why, and how components should be used.
