Requirements
- Have a college degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Have at least three years of direct RFP experience.
- Have experience writing and producing RFP responses in health care or a related field.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines under time constraints and changing conditions.
- Read technical documents, requirements, and instructions and communicate requirements concisely as actionable activities and deliverables.
- Use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Design, implement, and manage appropriate action plans.
- Have expertise in Microsoft Word, Visio, Outlook, and Adobe.
- Have knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and ability to research via the Internet.
- Have experience using AI such as CoPilot.
- Be available throughout all phases of the RFP response process; occasional extended work hours may be required by project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the RFP process for contract renewals and new business aligned with HSAG’s strategic initiatives.
- Analyze RFP requirements and develop response timelines and templates.
- Coordinate writing, editing, and review of proposal material from RFP writers and subject matter experts.
- Conduct compliance reviews to ensure responses meet RFP requirements and read consistently.
- Write and edit proposal sections, including transmittal letters, executive summaries, corporate background, past performance, biographies, and resumes.
- Compile proposal documents, conduct final editorial and formatting reviews, and submit responses.
- Identify and evaluate RFP opportunities that align with HSAG’s lines of business.
- Maintain resource materials, databases, and current staff resumes and biographies.
