Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong experience writing functional requirements and BI solution documentation in an Agile environment.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, and present findings to executive stakeholders.
- Practical understanding of Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and workspace organization.
- Experience with ERP and operational data, especially Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX.
- Knowledge of manufacturing data such as work orders, BOMs, routing, costing, throughput, and supply chain.
- Familiarity with SQL-based data environments and ability to perform basic data exploration and validation.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps for backlog and work item management.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Fabric Link integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales data flows, attribution models, financial reporting hierarchies, or cost accounting structures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across manufacturing, finance, sales, operations, procurement, and marketing to define reporting needs.
- Document KPIs, metrics, dimensional structures, and semantic logic for standardized reporting models.
- Ensure Power BI datasets and dashboards are accurate, timely, secure, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support validation and user acceptance testing for reports and data products before deployment.
- Map business processes, data flows, and dependencies across Dynamics 365/AX and integrated systems.
- Work with data engineers to guide transformations that structure analytics-ready data.
- Help define data quality rules, governance standards, and master data requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, self-service analytics, and data democratization.
- Track enhancement requests and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with enterprise strategy.
