Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Have 3-5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5-7 years without one.
- Have 3+ years of master data management or data governance experience in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate experience defining data quality rules, measures, and scorecards and driving remediation with business data owners.
- Have experience with match, merge, survivorship, and duplicate resolution across multiple source systems.
- Have working knowledge of ERP master data domains and the downstream financial impact of master data defects.
- Be proficient with SQL or equivalent data analysis tooling.
- Demonstrate experience owning deliverables through design, configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Have experience supporting multi-system SAP landscapes.
- Have an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain and maintain one before assignment; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: experience with SAP Master Data Governance, federal ERP modernization, defense business systems, or enterprise data catalog, lineage, or metadata management tools.
- Preferred: CDMP or equivalent data management certification and familiarity with FIAR, DoD 7000.14-R, or FFMIA.
Responsibilities
- Own assigned master data domains, including attribute definitions, business rules, valid value sets, and data quality thresholds.
- Design match, merge, and survivorship rules to establish authoritative records across legacy sources and resolve conflicting data.
- Define and maintain data quality rules, measures, and scorecards, and drive remediation with data stewards and functional owners.
- Lead stewardship sessions to establish data ownership, approval paths, and remediation accountability.
- Design master data lifecycle processes for creation, change, extension, blocking, and marking for deletion.
- Analyze cross-domain consistency so financial, material, asset, and organizational data align to enterprise definitions.
- Lead requirements gathering and fit-to-standard workshops, and document functional designs and configuration rationale.
- Own deliverables through design, configuration, documentation, testing, and defect resolution.
- Support authority-to-operate, cybersecurity, audit, compliance, cutover, go-live, and post-deployment hypercare activities.
