Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Have a professional understanding of agile concepts and processes.
- Have good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Understand DevOps concepts and processes.
- Understand back-end development best practices.
- Have strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
- Have strong frontend expertise, primarily in React and WordPress or similar technologies.
- Have backend development experience, primarily in Python and Golang, or languages such as Java, Node.js, or C#.
- Have a deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed computing.
- Have effective time management and estimation skills.
- Be self-motivated, willing to learn new skills, and able to adapt to change.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale systems and internal tooling that power Avakin Life.
- Collaborate with teams across Lockwood to identify functionality and efficiency improvements and determine appropriate solutions.
- Work within a cross-functional team to deliver value in an agile environment.
- Manage risk through a DevOps culture and thorough testing.
- Analyze systems, prioritize issues, and resolve them.
- Improve development and planning processes.
- Take ownership of the systems produced.
- Work according to best practices for secure, compliant, and reliable systems.
