Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Have software development experience in at least two of Python, Java, Go, or similarly relevant modern programming languages.
- Bring strong experience with APIs, SDKs, custom data integrations, and enterprise application architecture in hybrid, SaaS, or on-prem environments.
- Have AI fluency in integrating AI into workflows, building multi-step processes, and applying agents, coding tools, and workflow automation.
- Be able to shape technical patterns across Skills, agent workflows, MCP, custom actions, custom connectors, Web SDK, Client APIs, and embedded product experiences.
- Have hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Be able to architect end-to-end AI application patterns on Glean, including ingestion, retrieval, grounded answer generation, and source-aware responses using Indexing, Search, and Chat APIs.
- Have technical debugging experience that includes log and code analysis, end-to-end tracing, and structured troubleshooting across distributed systems.
- Bring a deep understanding of cloud and on-prem networking, private connectivity, and enterprise security constraints.
- Have hands-on experience with at least one of Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
- Have experience defining production-readiness requirements for AI workflows, including evals, observability, governance, reliability, and rollback or escalation paths.
- Have experience in at least two of Software Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Post-Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Support Engineering, Forward Deployment, or Solutions Architecture.
- Have experience as the named technical owner for strategic or complex enterprise accounts and supporting architecture-heavy customers.
- Have experience moving customer AI use cases from workshop-quality prototypes to production-quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic technical advisor and point of contact for assigned customers.
- Own technical account strategy, including technical roadmap reviews, operating reviews, and executive alignment.
- Develop strategic technical roadmaps tied to customer objectives, implementation milestones, and technical success criteria.
- Lead architecture and technical decision-making workshops, documenting recommendations, trade-offs, patterns, and ownership.
- Guide customer architecture and implementation choices across connectors, MCP, actions, APIs, SDKs, custom UI embeds, and agent workflows.
- Define evals, governance, observability, guardrails, and production-readiness requirements for advanced customer workflows.
- Design or lead delivery of strategic technical builds, including Skills, Actions, MCP servers, custom connectors, SDK integrations, and embedded experiences.
- Enable customer admins, developers, and technical stakeholders to operate and extend Glean in their environments.
- Coordinate technical plans with Customer Success, AI Outcomes Managers, Account teams, Product, Engineering, and Support.
- Translate customer friction and enterprise requirements into engineering-ready product feedback, and develop reusable cross-account programs and blueprints.
