Requirements
- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Math, or Physics, or equivalent.
- Have 12+ years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Have 5+ years working on complex signal processing systems, such as radar, medical imaging, or computer vision.
- Have 10+ years in a large product development or systems engineering environment.
- Have a solid grounding in high-speed, high-throughput data analysis and transmission design.
- Have experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++.
- Be able to communicate with technical, sales, executive, and customer audiences.
- US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead definition and specification of new and existing SAR processors.
- Manage technical risks and lead processor integration, verification, and validation.
- Supervise interface control document development.
- Ensure hardware and software components integrate into the larger ground or space segment.
- Coordinate trade-offs between theoretical algorithms and implementation on the actual processor.
- Troubleshoot root causes of processing errors and artefacts in image products, and identify mitigations.
- Optimize processing time toward near-real-time.
- Participate in mission design trade-off studies, mentor the team, and advise senior management and new business pursuits.
