Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Type at least 30 words per minute and have strong computer knowledge.
  • Have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work a full-time work week of 35–44 hours, with overtime opportunities as needed.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the assigned schedule and reliable attendance.
  • Be available for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment handling back-to-back calls and multitasking across applications.
  • Be able to sit, reach, communicate, type, read, multitask, and concentrate for prolonged periods.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Live and work in Manitoba, New Brunswick, or Ontario.
  • Have a private, quiet, distraction-free home office with a door and no conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
  • Have hardwired DSL, fiber, or cable internet via Ethernet, with at least 20 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, and ping below 100 ms.
  • Have a desktop or laptop computer with a hardwired Ethernet connection for the application assessments.
  • Experience reviewing financial transactions and assisting with service enrollment, cancellation, or charge disputes is preferred.
  • Technical support or troubleshooting experience, and previous call center or work-from-home experience, are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to customers and identify and isolate technical issues.
  • Research solutions by navigating multiple applications.
  • Provide accurate, timely, step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.
  • Answer questions about telecommunications products and services for smartphones, tablets, and computers.
  • Assist customers with account services, including enrolling in or canceling services and disputing charges.
  • Resolve conflicts and support frustrated customers with patience and empathy.
  • Handle high-volume inbound calls while multitasking across systems.
