Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, IT, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of international experience in enterprise software sales or enterprise software business development.
- Proven experience selling SaaS/subscription-based enterprise solutions and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles.
- Experience with discovery, software demonstrations, RFIs, RFPs, proposals and contract negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder-management, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Good commercial awareness and ability to work across Sales, Presales, Product, Finance, Legal and Delivery.
- Strong CRM, pipeline-management and forecasting discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to travel internationally, around 35% annually under normal conditions.
- Experience in financial services, debt collection or related industries is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new-business subscription and revenue targets in line with the company’s annual budget and strategic priorities.
- Qualify opportunities from inbound and outbound marketing, partners, referrals and direct market engagement, conducting structured discovery.
- Develop opportunity-specific sales strategies covering stakeholder mapping, sponsor development, competitive positioning, risk management and progression plans.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across Collections, Risk, Operations, Technology, Procurement, Legal and executive leadership.
- Coordinate presales activities with Product, Presales, AI, Delivery and technical specialists, including presentations, workshops, demonstrations, technical sessions, proofs of concept and Q&A sessions.
- Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, tenders and clarification requests, ensuring submissions are accurate and delivered on time.
- Develop commercial proposals and lead negotiations and contracting through signature with Sales leadership, Finance, Legal and Delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide evidence-based forecasts covering pipeline progress, deal values, probabilities, close dates, next steps, risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Account Managers on strategic expansion opportunities and complete structured handovers to Project Management and Delivery.
- Capture and share customer, market and competitor insights with Marketing, Product and Sales leadership.
