Job Details

Requirements

  • Hands-on federal, library, or research-institution consulting / research delivery
  • Ability to lead or support structured research methods, synthesis, and client briefings
  • Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator
  • Available for travel as needed for client on-sites
  • Prior Library of Congress, federal library, or civilian agency research consulting experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with federal contracting vehicles / IDIQ task orders (preferred)
  • Advanced degree in library science, public policy, social science, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support federal research, literature synthesis, and applied research consulting engagements
  • Design research plans, methods, and quality controls appropriate to library/federal research environments
  • Produce clear analytical products, briefings, and client-ready reports
  • Coordinate with contracting officers and technical points of contact on scope, deliverables, and schedule
  • Contribute research/past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned)
