Job Details

Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in research, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, or project management.
Experience working within higher education systems and structures.
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to clean, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets.
Proficiency in data analysis software such as Stata, R, SQL, and/or Atlas.ti.
Experience writing in-depth professional reports and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Working knowledge of the California Community Colleges system and higher education landscape.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to design, implement, and monitor research projects and reporting approaches.
Experience in higher education reform, systems change, or nonprofit/public sector environments is preferred.

Support the planning, design, and implementation of research and evaluation initiatives.
Collect, clean, validate, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Independently conduct quantitative analysis using Stata and analyze large datasets using SQL.
Prepare and analyze qualitative data using methods and tools such as Atlas.ti.
Conduct literature reviews, background policy research, and secondary research.
Develop research briefs, reports, data visualizations, and presentations.
Provide research and data expertise to team members and external partners.
Manage project plans, track deliverables, and organize workstreams using Asana.
Coordinate project meetings and activities across internal and external teams.
