Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data product management, data strategy, or data governance within a complex or global organization.
- Strong understanding of core Finance processes: record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial planning.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., US GAAP/IFRS), internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong grasp of data architecture, governance, metadata management, and modern data product concepts.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments with both Finance and Technology stakeholders.
- Exceptional business acumen with the ability to translate technical data solutions into financial and operational value.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (C1 level).
- High data literacy and a strong ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for Finance data products aligned with Finance and enterprise data priorities.
- Partner with FP&A, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and other finance stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on impact and compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Finance data products using Agile methodologies, including backlog management and user story creation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and auditable financial data solutions.
- Ensure alignment with financial reporting standards, SOX controls, and enterprise data governance policies.
- Embed data quality, lineage, and metadata requirements across financial domains like general ledger, AP/AR, and cost accounting.
- Monitor data adoption and business impact to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting efficiency.
