Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a product or technical role focused on software development and system integrations.
  • Proven track record of independently leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
  • Hands-on expertise with on-site search or discovery product ownership, including relevance tuning and faceted navigation.
  • Demonstrated Agile development mindset with hands-on proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Understanding of full-stack development technologies, including React and Java (Spring Boot).
  • Cloud deployment experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong data fluency with the ability to turn analytics, search behavioral data, and A/B test results into roadmap decisions.
  • Ability to work on assignments of diverse and complex scope with minimal guidance.
  • Experience within an eCommerce setting is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as WMS, ERP, or CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive user and market research to guide product strategy, translating insights into features and actionable roadmaps.
  • Manage the site search strategy, including relevance tuning, ranking signal prioritization, and query understanding.
  • Oversee category navigation and browse taxonomy to facilitate effective discovery across thousands of SKUs.
  • Own the product backlog by creating detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers to ensure feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead UAT planning, execution, and post-launch monitoring to ensure high-quality product performance.
  • Communicate complex insights and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
