Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in crypto custody, payments, KYC/AML, or related financial infrastructure.
- Experience owning custody and compliance processes in a crypto exchange, wallet, broker, crypto bank, BaaS, or custody platform.
- Practical experience with platforms such as Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, Uphold, or similar.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, Travel Rule, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- Experience building operational compliance processes at scale.
- Experience working directly with external providers and negotiating commercial terms.
- Strong product and commercial mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort making decisions based on data.
- Technical literacy and ability to work directly with engineers.
- Experience managing teams and owning delivery.
- Experience in crypto or fintech is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own Custody & Compliance end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, priorities, budget, and business results.
- Define and track key metrics for deposits, withdrawals, KYC, fraud, and customer activation.
- Balance risk prevention with customer experience and commercial impact.
- Own custody infrastructure and relationships with providers like Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, or Uphold.
- Improve transaction processing speed, reliability, and success rates for deposits and withdrawals.
- Build scalable compliance operations, including case management, decision SLAs, and escalation processes.
- Develop data-driven fraud prevention guardrails across deposits, withdrawals, and customer verification.
- Lead a dedicated engineering team, owning priorities, backlog, and product delivery.
