Requirements
- 8+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- At least three years experience with Azure Databricks or a comparable lakehouse platform.
- Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python or PySpark.
- Experience with Delta Lake, ETL/ELT, orchestration, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling, and semantic models.
- Working familiarity with Unity Catalog, source control, automated deployment, and CI/CD.
- Ability to support Microsoft Power BI datasets and dashboards.
- Ability to collaborate with machine learning engineers on feature pipelines.
- Strong technical writing skills for maintaining documentation and runbooks.
- Ability to satisfy required suitability, security, and access requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines across legacy and current systems with traceable mappings.
- Build Data Vault 2.0 and Gold tier models to support agency analytics.
- Develop documented deduplication, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
- Integrate semantic models and provide Microsoft Power BI support.
- Conduct technical reviews of partner work before formal acceptance.
- Maintain complete data dictionaries, pipeline specifications, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
