Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations, monthly close, general ledger, and accounts payable.
- Proven experience working with US-based companies.
- Working knowledge of GAAP, payroll administration, and internal financial controls.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly reconciliation of all bank and credit card accounts.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process and vendor relations.
- Lead the monthly financial close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in payroll processing and support payroll tax compliance.
- Help establish, document, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and financial reviews by preparing documentation.
