Requirements
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in Accounting.
- Intermediate Chartered Accountancy (Inter-CA) qualification.
- 5–10 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge and application of US GAAP.
- Experience with financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Proven experience leading or supervising accounting team members.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 and LAPRO.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI.
- Stable internet connection and professional remote working setup.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 2 Accounting Analysts to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
- Prepare FAS 91 working papers for deferred income and expense accounting.
- Reconcile loan collections with bank activity and post accounting entries.
- Calculate asset resolution gains and losses.
- Account for interest expense, interest income, and prepaid expenses.
- Account for loan suspense adjustments and loan-related income and expenses.
- Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet items.
- Determine appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and events.
- Contribute to monthly and yearly financial reporting.
