Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, cloud security, or IT.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical experience with cloud-native SaaS environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices (threat modeling, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning).
- Practical experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Working knowledge of AI/GenAI cybersecurity risks and secure AI adoption practices.
- Solid understanding of identity and corporate IT environments (SSO, MFA, MDM, privileged access).
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity risks to diverse stakeholders including Engineering and Executives.
- Experience building or maturing security programs within a growing SaaS company is preferred.
- Experience with cybersecurity automation across CI/CD and cloud infrastructure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own and mature cybersecurity compliance programs, including SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.
- Drive cloud and application security in partnership with Engineering, focusing on secure-by-design practices for traditional and AI applications.
- Lead incident response operations, including monitoring, threat detection, and tabletop exercises.
- Manage corporate IT operations, including MDM, endpoint security, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Establish governance and guardrails for the secure enterprise adoption of AI and agentic technologies.
- Communicate security posture to executive leadership and external stakeholders through customer questionnaires and audits.
- Build and develop the IT and cybersecurity team by identifying capability gaps and hiring talent.
