Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within healthcare, healthcare services, or revenue cycle management.
- Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes including billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR.
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
- Strong process mapping and workflow analysis skills.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
- HIPAA-compliant private workspace.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing revenue cycle workflows to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Gather and document business requirements from operational teams and client stakeholders.
- Map current and future-state processes across billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for system, process, or reporting improvements.
- Collaborate with RCM teams to investigate operational issues and develop practical solutions.
- Support the implementation and testing of new processes, system enhancements, and workflow changes.
- Prepare process documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Track improvement initiatives and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes.
