Requirements
- Previous experience in a phone-based, intake, admissions, healthcare, customer service, or sales role.
- Strong professional phone communication and active listening skills.
- Experience using CRM systems with the ability to learn new EMR systems quickly.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail for documentation and follow-up.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and conversations simultaneously.
- Confidence in handling emotional, sensitive, or difficult conversations.
- Reliable availability for overnight weekend shifts (Thursday–Sunday).
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Prior experience in behavioral health, mental health, or rehabilitation is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from prospective patients and their families with empathy and professionalism.
- Build rapport to understand caller needs and circumstances through thoughtful questioning.
- Guide qualified prospects through the intake and admissions process.
- Maintain accurate lead information and follow-up activities in the CRM.
- Document conversations and next steps clearly in the CRM/EMR.
- Ensure complete and accurate handoffs to the weekday admissions team.
