Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time backend focused development.
- 3+ years of working with distributed systems, preferably with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3+ years of product focused development.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 5+ people.
- Experience integrating AI into design, development, and decision-making workflows.
- Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including responding outside normal working hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Build automated AI agents to gather data and discover closures using proprietary signals.
- Leverage algorithms to invalidate stale data and merge duplicate reports into a single, high-fidelity source of truth.
- Design systems that expose incident data across the entire Mapbox ecosystem.
- Partner with the MapGPT team to evolve the Feedback Agent using real-time customer insights.
- Collaborate with the team to identify, scope, and deliver well-defined tasks on time with quality.
- Promote operational excellence by testing, monitoring systems, writing documentation, and participating in an on-call rotation.
- Reduce technical debt and optimize application performance while accelerating feature velocity.
