Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience on shipped B2B software.
- 2+ years of experience owning an AI/ML-powered product surface (e.g., document AI, search and ranking, or LLM features).
- Experience in fintech or regtech industries preferred.
- Proficiency in capacity planning and prioritization frameworks such as RICE, WSJF, or Kano.
- Strong technical understanding of ML product failure modes, precision/recall trade-offs, and inference costs.
- Proven experience shaping build vs. buy decisions for model or vendor components.
- Ability to create detailed product requirements and clear decision documentation for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills for producing documentation that technical and business teams can act upon.
Responsibilities
- Develop a rolling 6-12 month roadmap for document extraction coverage, accuracy, and AI platform infrastructure.
- Prioritize the demand queue for new forms and fields using structured frameworks like RICE, WSJF, or Kano.
- Define and own accuracy metrics, translating technical model measures into user-facing performance reporting.
- Partner with engineering to guide build vs. buy decisions for model components based on cost, latency, and business value.
- Plan engineering capacity around seasonal tax filing peaks and annual tax-year releases.
- Collaborate with UX and other product teams to integrate user corrections as feedback signals for model improvement.
