Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst.
- Proven experience with legacy modernization, migration, or integration projects.
- Ability to read code (Java/Spring) and write SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) for data profiling and logic verification.
- Strong process-modeling skills using BPMN, swimlanes, and data-flow diagrams.
- Experience defining portals/internal tools using tools like Figma or Miro.
- Solid understanding of cloud architectures (Azure), REST APIs, and data platforms like Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with backlog management in Jira or Confluence.
- Experience using AI assistants to speed up analysis and code comprehension.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1) for stakeholder facilitation.
- Ability to reflect non-functional requirements like security and performance in design.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Java/Spring code, Oracle schemas, PL/SQL, and data to reverse-engineer business rules and edge cases.
- Map current operational processes through interviews and shadowing to identify pain points and risks.
- Produce As-Is documentation including process maps, integration diagrams, and business-rule catalogs.
- Design target processes for the modernized platform, incorporating Databricks-enabled analytics and reporting.
- Define functional specifications for portals, including user journeys, screen-level specs, and data-mapping requirements.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops as the primary functional contact for business owners, operations, and IT stakeholders.
- Support UAT and provide process documentation and training materials for go-live.
