Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, science, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience with custom plastic materials.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technical strength to develop new business.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long term customer relationships.
- Strong plastics technology skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer software, including word-processing and spreadsheets.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel frequently, generally over 50%, including international travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage development activities associated with polyolefin compounded materials.
- Identify strategic markets and customers for business growth.
- Determine material requirements and specifications for targeted applications.
- Collaborate with product development engineers to create material solutions.
- Coordinate and attend customer molding trials and provide feedback.
- Present formalized data packages of developed materials for customer approval.
- Interface with customers and OEMs to achieve product approvals.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints.
