Requirements
- Experience as an analyst inside a mobile product squad, including event tracking, funnel analysis, and user journey analysis.
- Experience managing a team of analysts while maintaining hands-on contribution.
- Advanced expertise in A/B testing, including Bayesian and frequentist approaches, bandits, and quasi-experiments.
- Proven experience building and maintaining a data quality regime.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Expertise in data transformation using dbt.
- Ability to plan around release cycles and manage data across multiple app versions.
- Strong communication skills for presenting analysis and process recommendations to PMs.
- Experience with subscription business models and mobile gateway SDKs (App Store, Google Play) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dagster or Airflow, and data catalogues like DataHub is a plus.
- Strong statistics background.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of analysts embedded in product squads.
- Act as the hands-on analyst for Monetization, managing tracking and experiments for features and conversion funnels.
- Set the data quality bar and ensure product and engineering teams own the quality of the data they produce.
- Build and maintain the path from raw event data to curated, ready-to-use datasets in self-service BI tools.
- Provide strategic guidance to PMs and engineering managers regarding data-driven decision-making.
- Establish standards for testing, anomaly detection, and data reconciliation.
